Today was our first ever Emmaus Artisan Market and it was a HUGE success! I've taken photos for years and have always secretly thought I had some level of talent, a 'good eye' as some say, but little did I realize how eager people would be to actually purchase my work!
I started off simple, printing 4x6 shots and placing them on note cards with envelopes. Presenting them in a clear sleeve makes them really seem 'professional'. Thanks to my co-photographer and friend, Jill Cramer, I was able to print and prepare 100 photos for today's market. I had no idea what to expect from this venture (and to be honest, was a bit concerned about missing my son's 8th birthday trip to the zoo to be at the market!), but now that the day is done I can say that it was a success and the beginning of a wonderful new journey for me!
Cards sell for $3 each or 4 for $10 and can be used as cards or framed for a more decorative look. If you see any photos on my blog that you would like a copy of, just email me and I can make sure to have one printed for you. I can print any size you'd like!
Here are some samples of the prints I sold today!
YOu do have so much talent, Jenae! Love your stuff!
