THE BRIDE'S HOUSE

Stephanie asked me to shoot this wedding with her and I was eager to say 'yes'. It's always more fun to shoot with her, especially when we get to travel somewhere new and debate whether or not we should believe what the GPS is telling us! We only got lost once (maybe twice) on the way down to Jaclyn's parents' house in Cinnaminson, NJ.

The day was frigid, so it felt good to arrive at the house. She and her girls got ready there before heading over to the church. Jaclyn was a bubbly, friendly gal and made us feel right at home by offering us sandwiches and bottles of water. Then we jumped right in to shooting the pre-bridals!

THE CEREMONY

The church wasn't far from Jaclyn's parents' home, so it was just enough time for us to sit and warm our tushes on Stephanie's heated car seats and take a drink. Despite the cold, the sky was blue and the clouds made a perfect accent behind the steeple of the church...

THE RIDE

These two know how to roll ... and of course it's very exciting as a photographer to have such a beautiful object to photograph! Stephanie and I were able to trail the newlyweds to capture some very cool shots on the way to the Pen Ryn Mansion in Bensalem, PA. Class at its best!

PEN RYN MANSION

We followed the bride and groom down a long, tree-lined drive to an amazing site - the 250 year old Pen Ryn Mansion. It rests on the banks of the Delaware River on 100 acres of manicured lawns and reminds me of something from a fairy tale.

THE COCKTAIL HOUR

The food was exquisite and the library seemed to be something from a movie set. Piano music filled the front part of the mansion thanks to Jaclyn's uncle. What a beautiful memory!

THE DINING ROOM

Stephanie and I wondered how they could possibly seat and feed 150 guests in the small space we saw at the front of the mansion. We soon discovered their secret as french doors opened to a vast dining room filled with ornate floral arrangements, chandeliers, and a full band. The 'enchanted ballroom'!

  1. Great job Jenae! What a beautiful wedding. I love the one where they are kissing in back of the RR.
